According to the standard, All featured images are crop “center center”.
Center top cutting will work best with a huge variety of pictures, especially if it has humans, the head is generally at the top. So if you would like to switch to this option. Follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Theme Options > Styles & Design > Featured Image – Crop Position
- Select the “From the top” option.
- Run regenerate thumbnails to create thumbnails for existing images.
