How to Create Image Crop Sizes?

A small number of generated thumbnails will save your disk storage space on your hosting provider.

A good website for speed and SEO needs to serve images for layouts in the same size or close to it’s box size.

Foxiz allows you to define any crop sizes or disable sizes you don’t use via settings, no coding required.

Create a new crop size

To get started, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Dashboard > Theme Design > Featured Image
2. Click on the Create a new crop size button under define custom crop size setting to create your own thumbnails.
3. Then input your site in the exactly as format below: with x height (without any spacing). for example: 300x200  500x600
4. Then save you changes.
5. After creating crop sizes, you need to run regenerate thumbnails for all exist images, To do this, please read this documentation

Delete crop sizes

To get stared, Follow the steps below:

1. In the Featured Image settings panel. You can remove your custom crop size or turn off default crop size for the theme.
2. Then save you changes.
3. After removing crop sizes, you can run regenerate thumbnails to completely delete them., To do this, please read this documentation
