How to Create a Table of Content?

Table of Content feature allows you to insert a table of contents into your posts, pages, custom post. The theme will find heading tags in post content, collect them and create the table of content.

It is automatically created depending on the heading tags and your settings.

To get started, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Theme Options > Table of Contents
  2. You can input the text “post” into the “Support Post Types” option if you want it to work with posts. For example, “post, page, podcast“. Leave it blank to disable and input “all” to support all post types.
  3. Save your changes.

Settings for Individual Post

To config the table of content for a post, Please follow steps below:

  1. Navigate to the post edit page
  2. Scrolling down to the bottom to find the Single Post Settings panel
  3. Select the Table of content tab then edit what you need
  4. Click “Update/Publish

Enable the table of content for the single page:

  1. Navigate to Theme Options > Table of Contents
  2. You can input the text “page” into the “Support Post Types” option if you want it to work with pages.
  3. Save your changes.

To config the table of content for a page, Please follow steps below:

  1. Navigate to the page and edit page
  2. Scrolling down to the bottom to find the Single Page Settings panel
  3. Select the Table of content tab then edit what you need
  4. Click “Update/Publish

Enable the table of content for the custom post type:

  1. Navigate to Theme Options > Table of Contents
  2. You can input your custom post type into the “Support Post Types” option if you want it to only work for specific post types.
  3. Save your changes.

Settings for Individual Custom Post Type

To config the table of content for your custom post type, Please follow steps below:

  1. Navigate to the custom post and edit post
  2. Scrolling down to the bottom to find the Single Post Type Settings panel
  3. Select the Table of content tab then edit what you need
  4. Click “Update/Publish
